What is in it
Each capsule provides 200mcg of chromium, which is 500% of the daily reference value. The other ingredients are cellulose and the vegetable capsule shell. Trivalent chromium and chromium picolinic acid are other names for it.
How to take it

Why chromium picolinate rather than chromium chloride or GTF chromium?
Picolinate is chromium bound to picolinic acid and is the form used in most of the research, because it is better absorbed than chromium chloride. GTF chromium from yeast is another well absorbed form, but it comes with the yeast.
How much chromium should I take a day?
Take one capsule twice a day, which gives you 400mcg. A practitioner may suggest one or two capsules with every meal for a period, which should be guided and monitored by them.
When is the best time to take chromium?
With your two main meals, or the two where you eat the most carbohydrate. Chromium works on the meal it is taken with.
Can I take it with other supplements?
