Choosing a B vitamin supplement
Nutri Tailor stocks the B vitamins in their active forms: vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin, vitamin B6 as P5P, vitamin B2 as R5P, and folate as methylfolate, in capsules and in liquid drops that can be dosed to the drop. All are made in the UK to GMP standards. The table sets out what each product is; the guides underneath explain which form to choose and how long B12 takes to work.

Other active B vitamins
| Product | Form | What it is chosen for |

| Methylfolate Capsules | Calcium L-methylfolate, 1000 mcg | Folate in the form found in circulation |

How to choose
For B12, the trial evidence does not consistently favour one form over another; the differences are UK status, retention and price, and the guide sets them out: Which B12 is best: methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin or hydroxocobalamin? For B6, the NHS advises not exceeding 10 mg a day long term without medical advice: Are there risks from long-term high-dose vitamin B6? For folate: Folate vs folic acid vs methylfolate.
What B vitamins contribute to, and how long B12 takes
Vitamin B12, B6, B2 and folate each contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue; B12 and folate contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism and normal red blood cell formation; biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin. Those are the authorised claims, and Nutri Tailor makes none beyond them. B12 blood levels rise within days of starting; what changes after that, and when a retest is worth doing, is here: How long does B12 take to work?
Safety
If you have been told you are low in B12, take prescribed medicines, or are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, talk to your GP or pharmacist first; high-dose folate on its own can mask a B12 shortfall, which is why UK guidance checks B12 first.
