Trimethylglycine, the methyl donor from beetroot.

★★★★★ "I won't go back to high street supplements. The difference in quality is something you can actually feel." Susie
Betaine, or trimethylglycine, is a compound found in beetroot, spinach and wholegrains. It donates methyl groups, which the body uses in hundreds of reactions.
Betaine contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism, the same pathway that folate and B12 support. It is taken by people who want methyl support without raising their folate or B12 intake.
Each capsule provides betaine as citrate with nothing else apart from the vegetable shell. It is not the same as betaine HCl, which is taken for stomach acid; see the Betaine HCl capsules for that.

Take at the start of meals for best results.
Signs include bloating after meals and feeling overly full.
No, enzymes support digestion without reducing your natural production. They are safe for long-term use.
People following a methylation routine with methylfolate and methylcobalamin who want a methyl donor alongside them, and people whose practitioner has suggested TMG. It is not the product for stomach acid; that is Betaine HCl. There is no authorised health claim at this dose, so Nutri Tailor does not promise an outcome.
Same core molecule, different job. Betaine citrate (TMG) is the methyl-donor form taken with food. Betaine hydrochloride is taken before meals as a source of stomach acid. They are not interchangeable.
Tablets need binders, fillers and a coating to hold their shape. A capsule is a cellulose shell around the powder, so it carries no binders and breaks down quickly once swallowed.
