What is in it
Each 5g scoop provides 1.4g of psyllium husk, 1.2g of inulin, 787mg of organic oat bran, 231.5mg of bentonite clay and 231.5mg of the Combocillus probiotic blend at 10 billion colony forming units per gram. The other ingredients are cellulose and maltodextrin. Fibre supplement powder and gut fibre supplement are other names for it.
How to take it
Mix one 5g scoop into a full 500ml of water or juice once a day, either an hour before a meal or two hours after. The volume of water matters, because psyllium absorbs a lot of liquid and needs it to form a soft bulk. Too little water can cause discomfort. The label allows a second scoop a day with the same timing. Fibre can reduce how well prescribed tablets are absorbed, so leave at least two hours between them.
