Diabetes Support Capsules give you chromium and magnesium bisglycinate with Ceylon cinnamon, grape skin, grapeseed, green tea and turmeric extracts in one capsule. It is a supplement, not a treatment for any condition. Each capsule provides 20mcg of chromium, 60mg of magnesium and 200mg of Ceylon cinnamon, with 40mg of each extract. You take three capsules just after breakfast and two just after lunch. One pot holds 150 capsules, which is a 30 day supply.

What is in it
Each capsule provides 60mg of magnesium as bisglycinate, 20mcg of chromium as picolinate and 200mg of Ceylon cinnamon. The extracts are 40mg of grape skin, 40mg of grapeseed extract at 95% OPC, 40mg of green tea extract at 45% EGCG, 40mg of turmeric at 95% curcuminoids and 400mcg of piperine. The capsule shell is vegetable cellulose. Five capsules a day give 100mcg of chromium, 300mg of magnesium and 1g of cinnamon. Blood sugar supplement is the term people search for.
How to take it
Take three capsules just after breakfast and two just after lunch, after food rather than on an empty stomach. Chromium and cinnamon can add to the effect of prescribed tablets for blood sugar, so speak to your prescriber before starting if you take any.

Is it a treatment for diabetes?
No. It is a food supplement that provides chromium, which contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels, with magnesium and plant extracts. Take it alongside diet, not instead of anything prescribed. Never stop a prescribed tablet without talking to the person who prescribed it.
How many capsules should I take a day?
Five, as three after breakfast and two after lunch. A pot of 150 lasts 30 days at that amount.
When is the best time to take it?
Just after breakfast and just after lunch, so it goes in with food. Taken on an empty stomach it is less comfortable.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Yes. It already contains 300mg of magnesium and 100mcg of chromium across five capsules, so count those if you take either separately, for example Magnesium Bisglycinate (Glycinate) Capsules.
Does it contain caffeine?
A small amount, from the 40mg of green tea extract in each capsule. Taking it at breakfast and lunch keeps it away from bedtime.
Does it have side effects?
The magnesium is bisglycinate, which does not cause the loose stools some other forms can. If you take prescribed tablets for blood sugar, speak to your prescriber first, because chromium and cinnamon can add to their effect.
