The 300mg enzyme blend includes alpha amylase (5700 SKB units for starch digestion), neutral and acid stable proteases (600 PC and 900 HUT for protein digestion across different pH environments), peptidase with DPP IV activity (105 units, relevant for gluten and casein peptide breakdown), fungal lactase (990 ALU for lactose digestion), lipase (47 FIP for fat digestion) and cellulase (255 CU for plant fibre breakdown).
The inclusion of both bromelain (56 GDU, from pineapple) and papain (2772 TU, from papaya) adds natural proteolytic enzymes that work alongside the microbial enzymes. The DPP IV peptidase is particularly notable as it assists in breaking down the proline rich peptides found in gluten and casein that many people find difficult to digest. Directions for use:
