GAP3 is a blend of three enzymes from fungal sources: alpha galactosidase, alpha amylase and phytase. Each targets the carbohydrates in beans, grains and cruciferous vegetables that people find hard to digest.
Alpha galactosidase breaks down the sugars in beans and pulses that cause wind, phytase releases minerals bound up in grains and seeds, and amylase breaks down starch. Together they cover a plant based meal.
One capsule at the start of a meal containing beans, lentils, grains or greens provides the amount. It is often chosen by people on a plant based diet.
