Repair gut lining, support muscle recovery and strengthen immune function with L glutamine
L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the body and becomes conditionally essential during periods of physical stress, illness or intense exercise, when the body's demand exceeds what it can produce.
The gut lining uses glutamine as its primary fuel source. Supplemental glutamine at beneficial doses supports gut barrier integrity and is widely used in protocols for intestinal permeability (leaky gut), IBS, post-infection gut recovery and inflammatory bowel conditions. It also plays a role in immune cell function, as lymphocytes and macrophages depend on glutamine to proliferate effectively.
Each capsule provides 400mg of pure L-Glutamine with no fillers. At the recommended gut soothing dose of 6 capsules per day (2,400mg), this provides meaningful support. For higher beneficial doses of 5 to 10g daily, as commonly used in clinical gut protocols, capsules can be supplemented with powder mixed into water.
Glutamine is also used in sports nutrition to support recovery from high volume training, though the evidence for performance benefit is most relevant for those with inadequate protein intake. People consuming sufficient dietary protein from meat, fish, eggs and dairy generally obtain adequate glutamine from food.

Directions for use:
Take 2 capsules three times per day, 20 to 30 minutes before eating.
Taking glutamine before meals allows it to reach the gut lining before food arrives, maximising its contact with the intestinal wall. Glutamine is heat sensitive, so if mixing powder into liquid, use cold or room temperature water rather than hot drinks.
For sports performance, take 4 capsules twice daily: one dose after exercising and the other 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. This provides 3,200mg per day.

Common triggers include gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, and processed foods. An elimination diet helps identify personal triggers.
