Lectin Support Capsules give you six sugars and fibres that lectins in food can bind to instead of the gut lining: N-acetyl glucosamine, okra powder, larch arabinogalactan, D-mannose, xanthan gum and bladderwrack. You take two capsules with water 10 to 15 minutes before a meal that contains lectins. One pot holds 120 capsules, which is 60 servings.

Lectins are proteins in beans, grains, tomatoes, peppers and dairy that some people find hard to tolerate. Each ingredient here is something a lectin can attach to, so the formula is taken before the meal on the principle of giving the lectins something else to bind before they reach the gut wall. What is in it
Each capsule provides 170mg of N-acetyl glucosamine, 90mg of okra powder, with 75mg each of larch arabinogalactan, D-mannose, xanthan gum and bladderwrack extract. Bladderwrack supplies 150mcg of iodine, which is 100% of the daily reference value. The capsule shell is vegetable cellulose. Lectin blocker and lectin supplement are other names for it.
How to take it
Take two capsules with a glass of water 10 to 15 minutes before eating, so the binding compounds are in the stomach before the food. Repeat before other meals if they also contain beans, lentils, grains, tomatoes, peppers or dairy. A meal without those does not need a serving. Two capsules give 300mcg of iodine, so count that if you take iodine separately.
Diet and allergens
The capsules are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. They are free from gluten, dairy and nuts. Anyone under 16 should not take them.

What are lectins?
Proteins found in beans, lentils, grains, nightshades such as tomatoes and peppers, plus dairy. Most people digest them without trouble, while some find meals heavy in them hard to tolerate and either avoid those foods or take a binder before eating them.
How many capsules should I take?
Two before a meal that contains lectins. Before each such meal if you have more than one in a day.
When is the best time to take Lectin Support?
Ten to fifteen minutes before the meal, with water. The timing is the whole point, because the compounds need to be in the stomach before the lectins arrive.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Yes. For the gut it is often taken alongside L-Glutamine Capsules, also taken before food, plus Combocillus Probiotic Capsules before breakfast. Count the iodine if you take Iodine 11 Liquid Drops as well.
Does it have side effects?
It is well tolerated at two capsules before meals. The bladderwrack supplies iodine, so if you take prescribed thyroid tablets, speak to your GP or pharmacist first.
