Lectin Support combines N-acetyl glucosamine, okra powder, larch arabinogalactan, D-mannose, xanthan gum and bladderwrack. Each is a sugar or fibre that lectins in food can bind to instead of the gut lining.
Lectins are proteins in beans, grains and nightshades that some people find hard to tolerate. This formula is taken before meals that contain them, on the principle of giving the lectins something else to bind.
Two capsules with water before eating provides the amount, and it can be repeated before other meals. It is often chosen by people who follow a lectin aware approach and want to eat more freely.
