Magnesium hydroxide is a mineral salt of magnesium. In the stomach it reacts with acid to form magnesium chloride, which is then absorbed.
Magnesium supports energy release, muscle function, the nervous system and bones, and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Any hydroxide that is not absorbed draws water into the bowel, so this form also supports regularity.
