OsteoAid combines calcium and magnesium as citrates with vitamin D3, vitamin K2, vitamin B12, orthosilicic acid and choline. It supplies the minerals bone is made of and the vitamins that direct them.
Calcium, magnesium and vitamin D contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, vitamin D supports calcium absorption, and vitamin K contributes to normal bones. Silicon as orthosilicic acid is included as the absorbable form.
Three capsules twice a day with meals provides the amount. It is often chosen by people who want bone support from one formula rather than separate calcium, D3 and K2.

What is in the daily dose of OsteoAid?
The daily dose is 6 capsules, taken as 3 with breakfast and 3 with lunch. Together they give you 468mg of calcium as citrate, 162mg of magnesium, 22.8mcg of vitamin D3, 44.4mcg of vitamin K2, 84mg of silicon and 74mcg of vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. A pot of 180 lasts 30 days.
Should I keep moving if my joints bother me?
Gentle movement often helps. If a joint is painful, swollen or hot, talk to your GP or a physiotherapist before changing what you do.
Is this vegan, and is it free from gluten, dairy and nuts?

Why capsules rather than tablets?
Tablets need binders, fillers and a coating to hold their shape. A capsule is a cellulose shell around the powder, so it carries no binders and breaks down quickly once swallowed.
