Tocotrienols are one of the two families of vitamin E, alongside the tocopherols. This softgel provides the delta and gamma tocotrienols with no alpha tocopherol.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. These tocotrienols come from annatto, which is naturally free of tocopherols, and they are the fraction most standard vitamin E supplements leave out.
Each softgel provides tocotrienols in a bovine gelatin shell, taken with food. It is often chosen by people who already take alpha tocopherol and want the other fraction, or who have been advised to take tocotrienols specifically.
