Activated Coconut Charcoal Capsules give you activated charcoal from coconut shell, on its own. Each capsule provides 350mg and you take one to two between meals, up to three times a day, at least two hours away from food, other supplements and prescribed tablets. How to take it
Take one to two capsules between meals, up to three times a day. Always leave at least two hours either side of food, other supplements and prescribed tablets, because charcoal binds whatever is in the gut with it. Use the lowest amount that works for you and drink plenty of water through the day, because charcoal can be constipating.
Diet and allergens
The capsules are suitable for vegans and vegetarians. They are free from gluten, dairy and nuts. Anyone under 16 should not take them.

How many capsules should I take?

When is the best time to take charcoal?

Can I take it with other supplements?
Not at the same time as anything else. Charcoal binds whatever it meets, so take it two hours apart from everything else, including Fungalite Phase I Capsules if you take the two together as a routine.
Does charcoal have side effects?
It can be constipating, which the lowest amount and plenty of water help with. Black stools are normal with charcoal and nothing to worry about. If you take prescribed tablets, speak to your GP or pharmacist first, because charcoal can stop them being absorbed.
