A concentrated liquid iodine supplement providing 1754mcg (1169% NRV) per single drop, in a vegetable glycerine base with ammonium iodide. Iodine is an essential trace mineral required for the production of thyroid hormones T3 and T4, which regulate metabolic rate, energy production, body temperature, brain development and numerous other physiological processes. The UK population is increasingly iodine insufficient, with dairy consumption (the traditional dietary source) declining and plant based diets rising.

The liquid format allows precise dose adjustment, which is particularly important with iodine because both deficiency and excess can disrupt thyroid function. At 1 drop per day, this product provides a therapeutic dose well above the NRV of 150mcg. The bottle provides 375 servings per 15ml, making it highly economical. The ammonium iodide form provides iodide ions, which are the form the thyroid gland directly uses for hormone synthesis.

Take 1 drop per day in water with food.

Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by a healthcare professional. Iodine at high doses can suppress or overstimulate thyroid function depending on the individual's thyroid status and history. Those with existing thyroid conditions (Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules) should consult their healthcare professional before supplementing with iodine at this dose.

Add 1 drop to a glass of water and take with a meal. The liquid format allows the dose to be reduced to every other day if a lower intake is preferred. Store in a cool, dark place. Iodine is sensitive to light and heat.
