PRO3 is a blend of protease enzymes from fungal sources, the enzymes that break down protein. The activity is stated in standard units so the strength is known.
Proteases break protein into the amino acids the body absorbs, and DPP-IV is the enzyme that handles the proteins in gluten and dairy that many people find hard to break down. People take it with protein meals.
