PRO3 Protease Capsules give you a blend of protein digesting enzymes from fungal sources, with stated activity and DPP-IV, the enzyme that handles the proteins in gluten and dairy. What is in it
Each capsule provides 550mg of a protease blend from Aspergillus fungal sources, with a total proteolytic activity of 11,000 HUT units per gram and 350 DPP-IV units per gram. The other ingredients are maltodextrin and the vegetable capsule shell. Proteolytic enzymes and protein digesting enzymes are other names for it.
How to take it
Take four capsules at the start of a meal, just before eating, so the enzymes are in the stomach when the food arrives. For an ordinary meal without gluten or dairy, two capsules may be enough. The capsules can be swallowed whole or pulled apart and the powder mixed into the food.
