This is vitamin E as natural d-alpha tocopherol in wheatgerm oil, in a bovine gelatin softgel. The natural form is the one the body retains best.
Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. It is a fat soluble vitamin found in nuts, seeds and oils, and it is taken with a meal that contains some fat.

Why natural d-alpha tocopherol rather than synthetic dl-alpha, and how does it differ from mixed tocopherols?
Natural vitamin E is d-alpha tocopherol; the synthetic form is dl-alpha tocopherol, a mixture of eight variants of which the body retains only one well, so natural is held at roughly twice the rate. Mixed tocopherols add the beta, gamma and delta forms found in food. This softgel gives the natural d-alpha form on its own at a high dose, which suits people who want alpha tocopherol specifically.
