Take one softgel a day with food. A meal that contains some fat is essential for vitamin E absorption.
Diet and allergens
The softgels are not suitable for vegetarians or vegans, because the shell is bovine gelatin. They contain gluten from the wheatgerm oil but are free from dairy and nuts.

Natural vitamin E is d-alpha tocopherol. The synthetic form is a mixture of eight variants of which the body retains only one well, so the natural form is held at roughly twice the rate. Mixed tocopherols add the beta, gamma and delta forms found in food, whereas this softgel gives the natural d-alpha form on its own.
How much vitamin E should I take a day?
Take one softgel a day, which gives you 400 IU, a standard high strength amount.
When is the best time to take vitamin E?
You can take it at any time of day, with a meal that contains some fat.
Can I take it with other supplements?
Yes. If you also take Tocotrienols Softgels, take the two at different meals at least six hours apart, because alpha tocopherol competes with tocotrienols.
Does vitamin E have side effects?
Vitamin E at this amount is well tolerated. High amounts have a mild blood thinning effect, so speak to your prescriber if you take a blood thinner.
