What Digestade is. A before-meal capsule that combines a standardised turmeric extract with piperine (which raises curcumin absorption), a small dose of betaine hydrochloride, choline, and bromelain, a protein-digesting enzyme from pineapple. Each ingredient is on the label at its dose, so you can see what you are taking.

How it differs from the single products. Nutri Tailor stocks Turmeric and Piperine and Betaine HCl on their own at higher doses. Digestade gives smaller amounts of several things in one capsule for people who want the combination rather than any one at strength. There is no authorised health claim for the formula, and Nutri Tailor does not promise an outcome from it.

Who chooses it. People whose practitioner has suggested a before-meal digestive combination. People who would rather take one capsule than three. Not for anyone with a stomach ulcer or gastritis, and piperine can change how some prescribed tablets are processed, so anyone on prescriptions speaks to a GP or pharmacist first.

Directions for use:

Take 10 drops in 250ml of water, once or twice per day with or just after a meal.

Taking zinc with food reduces the chance of nausea. Add the drops to a glass of water and drink during or immediately after your meal.

For targeted immune support when feeling unwell, the dose can be increased to 15 drops in 250ml water, three times per day with meals. This higher dose should not be continued for longer than 4 weeks, after which you should return to the maintenance dose.
