How to boost your results
The first half of the cycle is governed by oestrogen (period to ovulation). This creates a feeling of higher energy levels, makes more intense exercise accessible and will generally encourage a sense of vitality when putting the body under a slightly higher amount of strain. Comparatively, from ovulation to the next period, progesterone levels rise which has significant impacts on energy metabolism.
