How to boost your results
Get your food proportions and portion sizes correct
All foods can happily fit into our routine, it's just about adapting them to our requirements. As a basic guide aim for 1 palm sized portion of protein, 1 cupped handful of carbohydrates, 2 fistfuls of non-starchy fibrous vegetables and a thumb sized portion of fat per meal. Ideally, eat 2-3 mouthfuls of vegetables first and your carbohydrates last.
Try the vinegar trick
Vinegar contains acetic acid so if we consume this before eating we can improve how our body digests carbohydrates. This then stabilises blood sugar and aids weight loss, energy levels, mood balance among other things. Mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar with 250ml of water and drink 5-10 minutes before eating your meals. *NB this should not be used by those with oesophageal inflammation, gastritis or peptic ulcers.
Move after your meals
For at least 10 minutes. This helps your body to regulate your blood sugar levels and generally make your energy metabolism more effective. It could be a walk, a series of 3-4 bodyweight exercises like squats or calf raises, or just carrying a few loads of laundry up the stairs and putting them away.

Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Diabetes Support adds magnesium and Ceylon cinnamon.
