Lectin Support
Prevents bloating and gas caused by beans, pulses, certain vegetables and dairy
Improve comfort after meals by supporting digestion of lectin containing foods
A gut lining support formula designed to neutralise dietary lectins before they can bind to and irritate the intestinal wall. Lectins are proteins found in many common foods including grains, legumes, nightshade vegetables and dairy that can trigger digestive discomfort, inflammation and increased intestinal permeability in sensitive individuals. Each capsule provides six ingredients that work to intercept and bind lectins in the gut.
N acetyl glucosamine (170mg, vegan source) is the primary lectin binding agent, providing a decoy target that lectins bind to instead of your gut lining cells. Okra powder (90mg) contributes a mucilaginous coating that supports the intestinal surface. Larch arabinogalactan (75mg) acts as a prebiotic fibre that supports beneficial bacteria and modulates immune function. D mannose (75mg) provides another sugar target for lectin binding and supports urinary tract health. Xanthan gum (75mg) adds additional protective mucilage. Bladderwrack (75mg, Fucus vesiculosus) provides 150mcg of natural iodine alongside fucoidans that support gut barrier function.

Directions for use:
Take 2 capsules with water before eating. Can be used before multiple meals if required.
The key to effectiveness is timing. The lectin binding agents need to be present in the stomach before the food arrives so they can intercept dietary lectins before contact with the gut wall. Take 10 to 15 minutes before meals with a glass of water.
This product is particularly useful before meals known to be high in lectins, such as those containing beans, lentils, tomatoes, peppers, grains or dairy. It does not need to be taken before every meal if the meal does not contain significant lectin sources. For those with diagnosed lectin sensitivity or autoimmune conditions where lectins are a concern, consistent use before main meals provides the best support.
Enzymase
Support stomach function, decreases bloating and gas
Break down food more efficiently and reduce bloating with broad spectrum enzymes
A broad spectrum digestive enzyme formula providing nine different enzymes in a single capsule to support the breakdown of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fibre and lactose. The 300mg enzyme blend includes alpha amylase (5700 SKB units for starch digestion), neutral and acid stable proteases (600 PC and 900 HUT for protein digestion across different pH environments), peptidase with DPP IV activity (105 units, relevant for gluten and casein peptide breakdown), fungal lactase (990 ALU for lactose digestion), lipase (47 FIP for fat digestion) and cellulase (255 CU for plant fibre breakdown).
The inclusion of both bromelain (56 GDU, from pineapple) and papain (2772 TU, from papaya) adds natural proteolytic enzymes that work alongside the microbial enzymes. The DPP IV peptidase is particularly notable as it assists in breaking down the proline rich peptides found in gluten and casein that many people find difficult to digest. This is not a treatment for coeliac disease, but it may support those with mild sensitivities to these proteins. The vegetarian capsule shell makes it suitable for most dietary requirements.

Directions for use:
Take 1 capsule with breakfast and 1 capsule with lunch.
If required, an additional capsule can also be taken with dinner. Always take immediately before or with the first few bites of food, as the enzymes need to be present in the stomach before the bulk of the meal arrives to work effectively.
Digestive enzymes are most useful for people who experience bloating, heaviness or discomfort after meals. They complement the body's own enzyme production rather than replacing it. If symptoms persist despite enzyme support, this may indicate an underlying digestive issue worth investigating further. The DPP IV activity provides extra support when eating foods containing gluten or dairy.
Choline
Crucial for brain function, liver detox and hormone balance
Support brain function, liver health and methylation with this essential nutrient
Choline is an essential nutrient that the body cannot produce in sufficient quantities on its own. It plays a critical role in brain function, liver health, cell membrane structure and the transport of fats out of the liver.
Each capsule provides 240mg of choline as choline bitartrate. Choline is a precursor to acetylcholine, one of the most important neurotransmitters for memory, focus, learning and muscle coordination. It also supports the structural integrity of cell membranes through its role in phospholipid production.
Most people do not get enough choline from their diet. Eggs are the richest dietary source (one egg provides approximately 150mg), but many people eat few or no eggs regularly. Vegetarians, vegans and pregnant women are at particular risk of low choline intake.
Choline deficiency can manifest as difficulty concentrating, poor memory, fatigue and in more severe cases, fatty liver. Supplementation is commonly recommended for cognitive support, liver health and during pregnancy where choline requirements increase significantly.

Directions for use:
Take 2 capsules once per day with food.
This provides 480mg of choline, which is within the adequate intake range for most adults. For targeted cognitive support or energy enhancement, the dose can be gradually increased to 4 to 6 capsules daily in divided doses, as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Taking with food improves tolerability. Choline is water soluble and does not need to be taken with fat.
Magnesium Citrate
Improves bowel motility (prevents and relieves constipation)
Support muscle relaxation, nerve function and energy with highly absorbable magnesium
Magnesium citrate is one of the most widely used and well absorbed forms of supplemental magnesium. Each capsule provides 85mg of elemental magnesium bound to citric acid. The citrate form dissolves readily in water, is efficiently absorbed in the intestines and has good bioavailability compared to oxide or carbonate forms. Magnesium citrate also has a mild osmotic effect, drawing water into the bowel, which makes it particularly useful for those who experience constipation alongside magnesium deficiency.
Magnesium is involved in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, including energy production, muscle and nerve function, protein synthesis, blood pressure regulation and blood sugar control. Despite its importance, magnesium deficiency is remarkably common, with studies suggesting that up to 70% of adults do not meet the recommended daily intake. Stress, alcohol, caffeine and processed food diets all deplete magnesium further. The vegetarian capsule shell makes this suitable for most dietary requirements.

† Nutrient Reference Value (NRV*) not established

Directions for use:
Take 2 capsules twice per day with meals, providing 340mg of elemental magnesium daily.
This can be adjusted based on individual needs. For general maintenance, 2 capsules once daily (170mg) may be sufficient. For beneficial use (muscle tension, stress, constipation, sleep support), the full dose of 4 capsules daily is appropriate.
If loose stools occur, reduce the dose. The osmotic effect of magnesium citrate means that higher doses can have a gentle laxative action. For some people, this is a benefit rather than a side effect. If the bowel effect is unwanted, switching to Magnesium Bisglycinate (which has no osmotic action) while maintaining a similar magnesium intake is a practical alternative.

How to boost your results
Getting fluid into the colon to soften the stool is incredibly helpful. Once per day soak 1 tablespoon of chia seeds in 500ml of water for at least 15 minutes then sip over a couple of hours. In addition to this, drink at least 1.5 litres of water.
Stick to a routine of a 12-14 hour gap between dinner and breakfast the next day, with 3.5-4 hours between meals. Grazing and frequent snacking prevent a complete digestive process occurring which will worsen the issue.
Soak 2-3 times a week in a warm bath with 500-750g of Epsom salts. This acts as an osmotic laxative, naturally drawing fluid into the bowels, relaxing the muscles, and consequently supporting good gut transit.

Founder, Nutri Tailor

Per NICE CG61 (2008, last updated April 2017) and BSG Vasant 2021 (doi 10.1136/gutjnl-2021-324598), first-line IBS-C management is dietary and lifestyle: regular meal patterns, hydration, soluble fibre (psyllium, oats), and physical activity. Osmotic laxatives (macrogol) are pharmacological first-line; linaclotide is reserved for severe IBS-C unresponsive to other measures. This plan provides Magnesium Citrate (an osmotic form recognised for gentle laxative effect by drawing water into the bowel), Choline 240 mg per capsule (essential nutrient, bile-flow mechanism, limited IBS-specific RCT evidence), Enzymase digestive enzyme blend, and Lectin Support (containing bladderwrack 75 mg with 150 mcg iodine per capsule). IODINE CAUTION: anyone with thyroid disease, autoimmune thyroid conditions, pregnancy, or breastfeeding should discuss with their GP before taking. The dietary lectin hypothesis reflects a complementary-practice framework with limited UK clinical guideline endorsement. For alarm features (rectal bleeding, weight loss, persistent change in bowel habit at age 60 or over), GP-led management is appropriate.
Initial improvements within 1-2 weeks. Full soothing takes 2-3 months.
Yes, gut support often works best as part of a protocol.
Increased intestinal permeability allows undigested particles into the bloodstream, triggering inflammation and immune reactions.
Bloating, irregular bowels, food sensitivities, skin issues, and fatigue can all indicate gut dysfunction.
Common triggers include gluten, dairy, sugar, alcohol, and processed foods. An elimination diet helps identify personal triggers.
