How we do supplements

Why we created IBS - Constipation

We should all comfortably pass 1-3 complete, well-formed bowel movements every single day. Not achieving this is classed as constipation.

If waste sits in the bowel for longer than intended we will reabsorb elements that should have been removed from the body. This leads to numerous issues including fatigue, low mood, headaches, poor immunity, and increasing hormonal symptoms, as well as digestive discomfort, gas, and bloating.

IBS-Constipation will provide symptom relief whilst also progressively retraining the gut to work as it should long term.

Lifestyle tips

How to boost your results

Functional hydration

Getting fluid into the colon to soften the stool is incredibly helpful. Once per day soak 1 tablespoon of chia seeds in 500ml of water for at least 15 minutes then sip over a couple of hours. In addition to this, drink at least 1.5 litres of water.

Give your digestion a break

Stick to a routine of a 12-14 hour gap between dinner and breakfast the next day, with 3.5-4 hours between meals. Grazing and frequent snacking prevent a complete digestive process occurring which will worsen the issue.

Epsom salt baths

Soak 2-3 times a week in a warm bath with 500-750g of Epsom salts. This acts as an osmotic laxative, naturally drawing fluid into the bowels, relaxing the muscles, and consequently supporting good gut transit.
